Information and analytics

Task: Develop from scratch and maintain Information and Analytical Service for the Publishing House including a newspaper, magazines and Internet media.

Strategy and tactics: Selection and training of personnel - information systems specialists and translators. Development and maintenance of the internal news system on the basis of different sources (Reuters, Interfax, Prime TASS etc) for the Publishing House journalists.
Daily monitoring and digesting of French, British, German, USA media. Daily maintenance of the newspaper column ‘This day in business’ (a story about important retrospective business events) and column ‘Success story’.
Daily information search for the Publishing House’s journalists. Daily maintenance of the newspaper section on the bourse indexes (on the basis of Reuters terminal server). Translations from French, German and English into Russian.

Result: Publishing House Sekret Firmy successfully launched a daily business newspaper and two magazines. All products were successful and had good ratings. Information Service worked independently within the Publishing House, keeping the structure, methods and personnel created and established by Development & Consulting. Information Service's work was estimated so highly that when the Publishing house was negotiating over the sale of a part of its assets the potential buyer insisted on acquiring the Information Service as a very attractive asset. Now the Information Service is a part of the Holding Obiedinennye Media.
